The Ministry of Health of the Kama region published data on child mortality from COVID

In 2021, not a single death from covid-19 among children was recorded in the Perm Territory. This was reported to RBC Perm by the press service of the regional Ministry of HEALTH.

In total, there are only two converted hospitals for children with CORONAVIRUS in the Perm Territory - in the City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 3 and in the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. In these medical institutions, the parent is given the opportunity to be with the child. Children with covid from municipalities, if necessary, are transported to the regional center.

Earlier, RBC reported that the death rate among children associated with COVID-19 has increased, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on the air of the Rossiya 1 TV channel.

“Children who suffer from chronic diseases endure it very hard. We see that the death rate among children has also increased,” he said (cited by Interfax).

According to him, for children who have chronic diseases that disrupt the immune system, Moscow clinics have already introduced new treatment protocols.
