The Ministry of Health announced the timing of the entry of Sputnik Light into civil circulation

The single-component vaccine against covid-19 "Sputnik Light" can enter the civil circulation in three weeks. This was announced by the Minister of HEALTH of RUSSIA Mikhail Murashko, RIA Novosti reports.

“In three weeks,” he said, answering a question from journalists.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke about the imminent launch of the fourth registered Russian CORONAVIRUS vaccine . “We were able to quickly create our own three effective vaccines against coronavirus infection. The fourth one will be launched soon,” he said on May 18.

Sputnik Light was registered in early May. Before him, three domestic vaccines were allowed to be used for vaccination - the Sputnik V drug from the Center. Gamaleya, the peptide vaccine "EpiVakKorona" from "Vector" and "KoviVak" from the Chumakov Center.

Sputnik Light is a one-component version of the Sputnik V vaccine. Antigen-specific antibodies (IgG) are produced already on the 28th day after vaccination, and its effectiveness is about 80%.
