The Ministry of Health allowed the creation of a covid hospital due to an increase in the number of patients

The Ministry of HEALTH of the Novosibirsk Region is considering the possibility of repurposing City Hospital No. 3, in a regional center, to accommodate patients with covid-19 .

“We collect all the information about the dynamics of the incidence every day. We see that we have a growing number of detected CORONAVIRUS infections in the region, an increase in the number of patients who are in hospitals, ”said Konstantin Khalzov, Minister of Health of the Novosibirsk Region, at a briefing on June 10.

The minister added that over the past 24 hours, doctors have detected coronavirus in 99 patients, another 114 people were hospitalized with suspected coronavirus infection and community-acquired pneumonia. According to the minister, people who are not vaccinated against COVID-19 end up in hospitals.

“I appeal to all residents of the Novosibirsk region. it is necessary to be vaccinated to avoid the disease! This is very important today,” Khalzov said.

Three coronavirus vaccines are available in the Novosibirsk Region: EpiVacCorona, KoviVac, and Sputnik V. At the moment, 267.27 thousand residents of the region have completed the full course of vaccination.
