Several civilians have died as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF) of civilian infrastructure in the Kherson region, including the building of a school and a kindergarten, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
“Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on the liberated settlements of Kiselevka and Shirokaya Balka in the Kherson region. Ukrainian nationalists fired at purely civilian targets. A school and a kindergarten in the village of Kiselevka were subjected to artillery shelling.
Also, according to the military department, artillery fire was fired at a cemetery on the outskirts of the village of Shirokaya Balka, where there were people. “As a result of shelling, there are injured and dead among civilians. Serious damage was caused to the buildings of the school, kindergarten and private houses. Due to the consequences of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the residents of these villages are partially deprived of electricity,” the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
