The Minister announced the stabilization of business in the Perm Territory

Perm business began to stabilize. Eduard Sosnin, Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Perm Territory, stated this in an interview with RBC Perm. He explained that at the end of February - beginning of March, there was concern among Perm entrepreneurs about the situation, people were worried about the future of their business. However, now the situation in the region has stabilized, the turnover of enterprises in the Perm Territory is increasing.

“The number of transactions, including export-import ones, is growing, banks tell us about this. We understand that the market is gradually adapting to changing conditions,” the minister explained.

As for new directions for business development, the Perm Territory is already working on trade relations with countries that are "friendly" in foreign policy. At the moment, the priority countries in the direction of foreign economic trade are Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus and Kazakhstan.

“In Uzbekistan, we were on a business mission with an official delegation last week. We are going to Azerbaijan next week. We are forming an official delegation to the Republic of Belarus, which will visit enterprises and the Forum of Russian Regions in June 2022. And we are going to Kazakhstan to the Kazakhstan Industry Week exhibition in September 2022,” says Eduard Sosnin.

The Minister notes that enterprises of the Perm Territory have a "huge competitive advantage" in working with the countries of Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
