Mexico shows interest in EpiVacCorona coronavirus vaccine

The Mexican authorities have begun negotiations with the Vector Center for Virology and Biotechnology on the prospects for the supply of the EpiVacCorona CORONAVIRUS vaccine. This was announced by the HEAD of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, Marcelo Ebrard.

“There is another Russian vaccine, with the manufacturers of which we also had the first conversation. This is the Vector State Center, which has already registered the vaccine in RUSSIA <...> They will provide us with information, ”TASS quoted the Mexican diplomat as saying.

At the same time, Ebrard noted that Mexico does not plan to supply EpiVacCoron in the near future.

Earlier, Indian Ambassador to the Russian Federation Venkatesh Varma said that Moscow and New Delhi had begun negotiations on the possibility of establishing the production of the EpiVacCoron vaccine in the territory of the South Asian republic.

The diplomat said the talks were at an early stage, adding that he could not name "any specific details."
