Medvedev explained his words about mandatory vaccination against COVID-19

Deputy HEAD of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev explained his words about the introduction of mandatory vaccination against the coronavirus covid-19 in the interests of the state.

On May 19, at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Online Legal Forum "9 3/4: Vaccination by Law", he stated that citizens voluntarily decide whether to vaccinate them or not, but in the interests of the country, the authorities can introduce mandatory vaccination. “Here, the ratio between voluntariness and obligation can be changed in favor of obligation,” he said.

One of the users asked Medvedev on his FACEBOOK page why people who have already recovered from COVID-19, who have developed immunity to infection, are forced to be vaccinated. To this, the deputy chairman of the Security Council asked to be more careful when “commenting on something or someone.”
