The European Medicines Agency (EMA) may register the Russian vaccine against the Sputnik V CORONAVIRUS by the end of June, Evariste Bartolo, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Malta, told TASS ahead of talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

He noted that the EMA vaccine registration procedure is underway, and if all the necessary documentation and evidence is presented, then there will be no problems.

“As far as I know, it will happen this or next month,” Bartolo said.

In his opinion, some European countries are ready to launch the production of Sputnik V, which is in the common interests of the European Union.
