Maldives approves use of Russian Sputnik V vaccine

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Republic of Maldives has approved the use of the Russian Sputnik V CORONAVIRUS vaccine in the country. This is stated in the message of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), which is at the disposal of RBC.

“Thus, Sputnik V is registered in 65 countries with a total population of over 3.2 billion people. Registration was carried out as part of the accelerated procedure (emergency use authorization, EUA),” the message says.

The approval document for the use of Sputnik V in the Maldives is also published on the website of the country's Ministry of HEALTH.

At the end of April, the use of Sputnik V was approved by the Albanian authorities. In addition, the vaccine is registered in RUSSIA, Belarus, Argentina, Serbia, Palestine, Venezuela, Hungary, UAE, Iran, Azerbaijan, India, Turkey and other countries.
