Store employees must wear masks due to the increase in the number of cases of CORONAVIRUS in RUSSIA,the company said

The management of the Magnit chain of stores ordered all employees to wear masks during work, the company's press service told RBC.

“From today, the company introduces a mandatory mask regime for store employees. it begins to operate for the staff of retail outlets of all formats in all 67 regions of the company's presence, as well as for employees of all 45 distribution centers, ”the company explained and added that it intends to achieve vaccination of 80% of employees.

Against the backdrop of an increase in the number of Russians infected with covid-19 , Magnit will increase the frequency of cleaning in stores and logistics complexes, and will continue to disinfect premises, carts, cash registers and other commercial equipment. Customers will be able to use antiseptic dispensers.

“We decided to strengthen anti-COVID measures in advance and take care of our customers and employees in order to prevent an increase in the incidence and guarantee the uninterrupted operation of the network,” said Deputy General DIRECTOR, Director of Network Management Ruslan Ismailov.
