The Leningrad region is seriously tightening "anticoid" restrictions

Governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko

On Monday, October 11, the Governor of the Leningrad Region, Alexander Drozdenko, amended the decree on "antique" measures. According to the press service of the region, the new restrictions will come into effect on November 15.

According to the document, the Volkhov district is moving from the “green” zone to the “yellow” zone (previously, the regional authorities divided all districts into colors, depending on the level of coronavirus incidence). It was the only territory in the Leningrad region where there were minimal "antique" restrictions. According to the regional administration, on Sunday, October 10, 10 cases of coronavirus were registered there. The leader of the region is the Vsevolozhsk district - 69 people fell ill with COVID-19 there over the past 24 hours , and 275 people in the region as a whole. Thus, not a single territory remained in the "green" safe zone. In the "red" zone are 7 out of 18 municipal districts.

According to the new version of the “antique” resolution, from November 14, in the “red” and “yellow” zones, it will be possible to get into hotels, swimming pools, training facilities, sports organizations, cinemas, concert halls, as well as clubs and circuses only upon presentation of documents on a full course of vaccination, past COVID-19 disease (within the last six months) or a negative PCR test (valid for 72 hours). At the same time, it will be possible to pass a rapid test for coronavirus in hotels.

By mid-November, the leaders of almost all organizations (state, municipal and private) working in the fields of education, healthcare, housing and communal services, trade and catering will have to achieve 100% vaccination of employees. If it is impossible to pass it, employees will need to obtain certificates of a medical exemption (with the conclusion of an immunological commission) or a coronavirus (a QR code must be provided). The remaining employees are required to provide negative PCR tests every 72 hours. Herd immunity passport will be issued to enterprises where 80% of employees are fully vaccinated.

In the Leningrad region, they separately note that these restrictions also apply to representatives of the transport sector, including taxis, as well as social workers.
