Western countries have allowed any measures against Russia, including "outright robbery," said Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, speaking at the 30th Assembly of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, RBC correspondent reports.

“What is surprising is the absolutely cavernous, Russophobic outburst that has occurred in all the so-called civilized countries. <...> Any hostile actions against our country are allowed, including outright robbery,” he said.

In particular, Western countries forcibly alienate property that does not belong to them and resort to state piracy, the minister believes.

"By their predatory actions against other people's tangible assets, Western countries have finally undermined their reputation as predictable, negotiable partners," Lavrov added.
