The Kremlin allowed the discussion of gas at the talks between the Austrian Chancellor and Putin Vladimir Putin

The main topic of the meeting between Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Russian President Vladimir Putin will be the situation around Ukraine, the conversation may also touch upon issues of gas supplies, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, RBC correspondent reports.

“The main topic is the state of affairs around Ukraine, but gas matters cannot be ruled out either,” Peskov said, noting that the meeting would be held in a closed format at the initiative of the Austrian side.
