
The Ministry of Education does not plan a mass closure of schools due to the pandemic, there will be no lockdown in the education system. This, as reported by TASS, was announced by the HEAD of the ministry, Sergei Kravtsov.
“We do not anticipate closing schools, only in case of emergency, if objectively there is such a situation. But we don’t expect any kind of closure or mass lockdown,” Kravtsov said.

At the same time, the minister said that each region should independently decide on the closure of schools. According to Kravtsov, about 0.1% of schools are now closed in RUSSIA due to the pandemic.
Since September 1, anti-epidemic measures have been stepped up in Russian schools. In addition, the ministry also supported the initiative on the inadmissibility of forced vaccination or sanctions if it is refused against students and teachers of schools and institutions of secondary vocational education. They also said they would not require schoolchildren to be vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS in order to be admitted to classes.
