US President Joe Biden should have talked to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky before meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Leonid Kravchuk, HEAD of the Kyiv delegation in the trilateral contact group on the settlement of the conflict in Donbass, stated this on the air of the Dom TV channel.

“I would like Biden to at least talk on the phone with President Zelensky before the meeting between Putin and Biden. Because I understand that during this meeting the topic of Ukraine will be present, it is already obvious,” Kravchuk said.

He explained that no one knows the situation in Ukraine and Donbass better than Zelensky. According to Kravchuk, the information received from the Ukrainian leader could be useful to Biden at a meeting with Putin.
