On July 7, the first building of the Novosibirsk Regional Clinical Hospital began to work as an infectious disease hospital. This was reported in the press service of the government of the Novosibirsk region.
The new infectious diseases hospital is designed for 226 beds. it will accept seriously ill patients with confirmed COVID-19 from the regions of the Novosibirsk region, as well as pregnant women with suspected CORONAVIRUS and pneumonia.
The press service of the regional government said that in the Novosibirsk region, 5.6 thousand beds have already been converted for patients with COVID-19.
The Minister of HEALTH of the Novosibirsk Region, Konstantin Khalzov, said that the regional Ministry of Health is trying to keep the reserve of hospital beds at the level of 15%.
By the morning of July 6, 42,870 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the Novosibirsk Region. 2108 patients have died from COVID-19.
