428 more Nizhny Novgorod residents infected with coronavirus

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 428 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection were confirmed per day. This is reported by the operational headquarters of the Russian Federation.

The total number of residents of the region who were diagnosed with covid-19 during the pandemic exceeded 162.14 thousand people.

According to the latest data, more than 149.6 thousand residents of the region have recovered, more than 6.19 thousand patients have become victims of the coronavirus, including 29 people who have died over the past day.

As of September 15, more than 985.35 thousand people were vaccinated against coronavirus (yesterday - 981.62 thousand), of which 915.96 thousand Nizhny Novgorod residents received the second component (910.48 thousand a day earlier). As of September 14, 36.4% of the adult population of the Nizhny Novgorod region were vaccinated against coronavirus, including 60% of the plan were vaccinated with the first component, 49% of the plan completed the full course of vaccination. As of September 15, the Nizhny Novgorod region received 1,354,674 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

Over the past day, more than 18.84 thousand cases have been detected in RUSSIA, and in general, 7.194 million cases of coronavirus have been confirmed. To date, more than 6.43 million people have recovered, 195.04 thousand patients have died.
