Coronavirus in Novosibirsk: summary for May 17

65 cases of COVID-19identified in the Novosibirsk region per day. According to the operational headquarters, as of the morning of May 17, 42,322 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the region, including 2,609 children. 38,433 patients recovered (+28 per day). Four more patients have died: men aged 65, 69 and women aged 71, 90. In total, 1,820 people died from coronavirus in the region.

1,225 patients, including 5 children, were hospitalized in infectious diseases hospitals of the region with a diagnosis of COVID-19 and with suspicion of it. There are 48 people in intensive care units. On the ventilator – 3 patients. A total of 1,568,246 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the Novosibirsk Region.
