The concessionaire spoke about the progress of the reconstruction of the overpass in Novosibirsk

The reconstruction of the Zyryanovsky overpass in Novosibirsk is 60% completed, the press service of the VIS group of companies said.

“As part of the second - final - stage of work, the pre-assembly of the metal structures of the automobile passage and the concreting of new supports were completed. Specialists have begun the installation of a reinforced concrete slab of the superstructure of the road passage of the overpass. All work is carried out in accordance with the schedule," the press service of the company said.

Restoration work is being carried out by the general contractor VIS PF LLC as part of the implementation of the concession agreement for the construction of the fourth automobile bridge across the Ob. The technical condition of the existing overpass did not meet the modern standards laid down in the concession, which required its modernization.

As part of the first stage of the reconstruction, the tram line was moved and public transport was launched in the normal mode, the old carriageway was dismantled, and part of the RZD communications was rebuilt. The length of the overpass is 60 meters, and its width after the completion of the reconstruction will increase from 20 to 28 meters. In 2020, the press center of the Novosibirsk City Hall reported that the work was planned to be completed by the fall of 2021.
