Klishas - RBC: “Does it mean that we are closing? I think not.” Politics
“But, to be honest, I would still get rid of these shares if I had such a company,” he said in an interview with RBC.
Klishas added that he himself has neither Meta shares, nor Facebook and Instagram pages: “Rather, as you said, for some moral and ethical things. I think this is absolutely unacceptable. I don't want to just stay on those platforms." They distribute "completely extremist materials," the senator is convinced.
For the presence of pages on Facebook and Instagram, no sanctions are provided against citizens and legal entities, Klishas specified. “You know, with what there can be really difficulties, this is with the transfer of funds, including advertising. I would refrain from this kind of action. Because now it is practically funding an extremist organization,” he explained. At the same time, you can “probably” sell your products on these platforms, the senator said.
