Every fourth Russian polled expressed support for the re-introduction of the mask regime in Russia. Such data is provided by the SuperJob service with reference to the results of the study (available from RBC).

The introduction of the mask regime was supported by 23% of Russians, against 48%. There are more supporters of wearing masks in public places among women - 25% versus 21% among men. At the same time, Russians under 34 support the resumption of the mask regime more often than their compatriots over 45.

Among those who were vaccinated against COVID-19 six months or less ago, three out of ten are for wearing masks. The least willing to return to wearing PPE in public places among anti-vaccinators (14%).

1,600 economically active citizens from all regions of Russia took part in the survey.

In mid-July, the daily number of COVID-19 cases began to grow in Russia. If during the recession in late May and early June, on average, from 2 thousand to 4.5 thousand infected were recorded per day, then in recent days the figure exceeds 6 thousand. On July 24, the operational headquarters reported 7.5 thousand cases per day , which was the highest since April 29.

In connection with these, more than half of the Russian doctors who participated in the study by Rosgosstrakh Life and the Doctor at Work service said that it was too early to talk about victory over the pandemic. In their opinion, it is necessary to continue to comply with measures, including the mask regime and distance, as well as to be vaccinated.

In early July, all coronavirus restrictions were lifted in Russia, including the mask regime and a ban on catering at night. The department explained the decision by the fact that the incidence rates have been steadily declining over the past four months.
