The paintings of Russian avant-garde artists, who could not be taken out after the exhibition in Seoul due to the lack of flights, were delivered to RUSSIA, Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova said in her TELEGRAM channel.
“After passing the necessary procedures, the items will be sent to museums. The authority to issue permits for the import of objects of the museum fund is vested in the Ministry of Culture, so we control their return to the territory of Russia, ”wrote Lyubimova.
We are talking about the paintings Improvisation No. 217. Gray Oval by Wassily Kandinsky, Suprematism by Kazimir Malevich, Jewish Venus by Mikhail Larionov, Mowers by Natalia Goncharova, and Non-Objective Composition by Alexander Rodchenko.
These paintings belong to four Russian museums - the Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts, the Nizhny Novgorod Art Museum, the Krasnoyarsk Art Museum. Surikov and the Primorsky Art Gallery.

The exhibition "Kandinsky, Malevich and the Russian avant-garde: the art of revolution" was held in SOUTH KOREA from December 31, 2021 to April 17, 2022.
