In the Kaliningrad region, they are not going to keep the QR code system for a long time, since this measure is “tiring”, said the governor of the region Anton Alikhanov during a direct line with residents.
“The story of QR codes makes me tired too. <...> If we talk about how long this system of restriction will be with us, no, not for long. We are not going to save this system, we are not going to expand it now, especially since the incidence is on the decline,” Alikhanov said.
Kaliningrad authorities will introduce QR codes for going to cafes and cinema Society
According to him, there are no plans to introduce QR codes in public transport, as well as "to complicate life further for our citizens." The governor expressed hope that soon it will be possible to ease the restrictive measures.
“Now we are vaccinating well, densely, and I hope that by spring we will forget about restrictions altogether,” Alikhanov said. In his opinion, the region has a good rate of vaccination, which will help to gradually lift restrictions.
