Statistics did not show a drop in catering turnover in Moscow due to QR codes
The turnover of Moscow catering last July, when there were restrictions on visiting cafes for the unvaccinated from covid-19 in the capital , reached 31.9 billion rubles, follows from the materials of Rosstat. This is even higher than in July of the pre-pandemic 2019: then it amounted to 31 billion rubles.
When QR codes were introduced in the capital, catering establishments complained about a record drop in attendance. The growth in the turnover of cafes and restaurants can be explained by increased prices, as well as the fact that various establishments fall into the catering category, including industrial canteens that did not suffer from the introduction of QR codes, food delivery, fast food, as well as cafes registered in Moscow, but working in other regions.Russia's first "special situations" fund
