
In Chechnya, the number of hospitalizations of patients with CORONAVIRUS increased by 2.5 times over the week. This was stated by the HEAD of the republic Razman Kadyrov in the TELEGRAM channel.
“If last week the average number of residents of the subject who are hospitalized with a diagnosis of covid-19 was about 25, now this figure has exceeded 60,” Kadyrov wrote.

At the same time, he noted that the healthcare system of the republic is fully coping with the current epidemiological situation.
However, according to Kadyrov, there is a shortage of coronavirus vaccines in Chechnya. “In the coming days, we expect the delivery of 50,000 doses of vaccines, which will allow immunization to be carried out without interruption,” he added.
According to the federal operational headquarters for combating coronavirus infection, from June 21 to June 24, an average of 19 new cases of coronavirus were detected in the republic. The maximum number of new patients was registered on June 24 - 25 people.
Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that Chechnya is now one of the leaders in terms of vaccination rates in RUSSIA. According to TASS, as of June 23, 175,671 people (31.5%) were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine. At the same time, in mid-May, the level of vaccination in the republics of the North Caucasus (including Chechnya) did not exceed 5%, followed from a study conducted by RBC.
