The HEAD of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, instructed to conduct a “second stage” of vaccination against CORONAVIRUS infection in Chechnya. He announced this in his TELEGRAM channel.
On August 22, a meeting of the government of the region was held in Chechnya, at which the epidemiological situation in the republic was discussed. The head of the Chechen Ministry of HEALTH, Suleyman Lorsanov, announced the need for a new vaccination campaign in the republic, since herd immunity in the region has dropped from 70% to 10%.

“I instructed the heads of executive authorities and municipalities to organize high-quality interaction for the second stage of vaccination,” Kadyrov wrote.
According to him, practice shows that vaccinations do not lead to side effects. “Despite the fact that almost the entire population has been vaccinated in our country, in just 15 days of August 2022, 197 deaths and 1,127 newborns were registered in the republic. These statistics completely refute all rumors about the dangers of vaccination,” the head of Chechnya said.
Kadyrov said that despite the increase in the incidence, there is a decrease in the number of hospitalizations in Chechnya. According to him, this is the result of a large-scale vaccination that took place in the republic. In July last year, mandatory vaccination against coronavirus was introduced in Chechnya.
According to the operational headquarters, 37 patients with coronavirus infection have been identified in Chechnya over the past day. Two people were hospitalized. During the day, 27 patients recovered.
