The Israeli Ministry of HEALTH has excluded RUSSIA from the red list of country classification, in which it has been listed since May 31. Israelis can now travel to Russia without a special entry permit. For tourists from Russia without Israeli citizenship, entry into the country remains closed for the time being.
Updated lists of countries available for visiting appeared on the website of the Israeli Ministry of Health on August 8 and entered into force on August 16. According to these lists, Israel classifies states into three groups: red, yellow and orange.
Bulgaria, Brazil, Georgia, Mexico, Spain, and Turkey remain on the red list of countries with the highest risk of contracting CORONAVIRUS infection. Israelis are not allowed to travel there, except in special cases, which are considered by the Commission on Exceptions.

Travelers from Australia, Austria, Hong Kong, Hungary, Taiwan, Molavia, New Zealand, CHINA , Singapore and the Czech Republic (a low-risk Yellow List country) are required to complete quarantine for 24 hours upon return to Israel until a negative PCR test is obtained. At the same time, unvaccinated citizens must be in complete self-isolation for two weeks. The quarantine period can be reduced to one week if PCR tests are negative.
