Tourists vaccinated against the CORONAVIRUS will be able to enter Israel as usual from July 1, without the need to obtain prior permission from the authorities. This was announced by the Minister of the Interior of the country Ayelet Shaket, reports The Jerusalem Post.

Together with vaccinated parents, children under the age of six will also be allowed into the country.

A list of countries whose citizens will be given this opportunity, as well as a list of approved vaccines, will be published by the authorities later. Unvaccinated tourists entering Israel will be required to quarantine upon arrival.

Citizens from countries that the authorities have listed as countries with the highest risk of contracting COVID-19 will not be allowed to enter Israel, Shacket added. Now this list includes Russia, Argentina, Brazil, India, Mexico and South Africa. it will be possible to get from them to Israel only in a number of specially specified cases, for example, the parents of the bride or groom or foreign workers who were vaccinated in Israel.
