Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin announced changes to the decree on high alert.

According to the changes, unvaccinated and not sick with covid-19 Nizhny Novgorod over 60 years of age are required to self-isolate. Citizens aged 60 and over who hold a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or immunization certificate are also advised to self-isolate. Employers are instructed to prioritize the transfer of employees aged 60 and over to remote work.

Employers in the region are recommended to provide those wishing to be vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS two days off with pay. 

The changes affected the work of catering enterprises. During non-working days, catering establishments are allowed to work both in delivery mode and takeaway, provided that the sale of products will be carried out in a contactless way (on a tray, through the counter, etc.), and the buyer will not enter the premises of a cafe or restaurant .

Also, the mode of operation of public catering at night is specified. Until November 15, 2021, from 23.00 to 06.00, visitors will be served exclusively in takeaway and delivery formats.
