Decrease in statistics 

Since the beginning of last week in Tatarstan, the daily increase in the number of cases of a new coronavirus infection began to slow down. On December 1, 235 cases were recorded. By December 3, 32,930 new cases of covid-19 were detected in the country per day, the operational headquarters said.

Lyubov Avdonina, deputy HEAD of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan, said at a press conference on Friday that the republic has seen a decrease in the weekly rate of increase in the incidence by 5.5%. The head of the Ministry of HEALTH of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Sadykov, spoke on December 4 about the conversion of 1,000 beds that were previously intended for patients with COVID-19.

New Year in Tatarstan 

On Thursday, the head of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan, Marina Patyashina, said that catering establishments may be allowed to extend their work on New Year's Eve, as it was a year ago. Now this appeal is under consideration by the Association of Restaurateurs. 

According to Patyashina, if restaurateurs want to work on New Year's Eve, the staff and artists of the festive shows must be 100% vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Christmas tree for children

Republican Christmas tree will be held on December 25. This became known on December 2. It is planned that the event will bring together about 8,000 children: it will be held in two shifts, with 4,000 participants each. Permission to organize the event from Rospotrebnadzor is already available.
