Shooting in a Kazan school
On the morning of May 11, at school No. 175 in Kazan, 19-year-old Ilnaz Galyaviyev opened fire, as a result of which nine people were killed - seven eighth-graders, a teacher and another adult woman. Another 18 children with various wounds and injuries are in the Children's Clinical Hospital, two adults are being treated at the Seventh Hospital, and one more at the Republican Clinical Hospital. Governor of the Kaliningrad region Anton Alikhanov expressed his condolences.
Over the past day, 60 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the Kaliningrad region, 73 people recovered, one died. In 49 cases, the infection occurs in the form of acute respiratory viral infections, in 7 - pneumonia, and four more are ill without symptoms.
Vaccination
The Kaliningrad Region received the first batch of the EpiVacCorona coronavirus vaccine developed by the Vector Center — 810 doses. The drug is fully synthetic, does not contain a live virus, is suitable for people with chronic and allergic diseases, as well as for revaccination after other vaccines and for vaccinating people who have previously had covid-19 .
Investor for a new plant
The Corporation for the Development of the Kaliningrad Region is looking for an investor to organize the production of acetylene alcohols. it is planned to open the plant together with UAB Prekybos namai Waldis. At the first stage of the project, it is planned to launch the production of 300 tons of acetylene alcohols. The cost is 205 million rubles on a turnkey basis.
Prices for medicines
In the first quarter of 2021, drug prices in the Kaliningrad region increased by 5.7%. This is one of the lowest rates in the country. Lineks increased the most — +35.58%, Heparin Sodium — +26.62%, Troxerutin) — +24.01%, Apixaban (for the treatment of thrombosis) — +21.61%, iodine - + 19.93%. Indapamid (expands blood vessels) fell the most — -18.62% and no-shpa — -9%.
