From March 1 to March 31, Italy will allow foreign tourists, including those from RUSSIA, not to undergo mandatory quarantine when entering the country, if they have a PCR test, a rapid test or a certificate of a CORONAVIRUS. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the Italian consulate in Russia.
The diplomatic mission clarified that from March 1 to March 31, 2022, it is possible to enter the country with a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) and one of the documents: a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus with a drug recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), which must be issued upon completion of the first full course of vaccination or after undergoing revaccination. If there is no certificate of vaccination, then it is allowed to provide a certificate of recovery indicating the end date of the corresponding period of self-isolation, from the moment of which no more than 180 days have passed. You can also provide a certificate of an antigen rapid test (valid for 48 hours) or a molecular PCR test (valid for 72 hours) with a negative result.
The consulate also asked tourists to check in advance for up-to-date travel information published at https://infocovid.viaggiaresicuri.it/returningtoitaly.html. At the same time, they did not specify whether the issuance of tourist visas will be resumed from March 1.
