State Institute of the Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin from September 1 will begin to let only students vaccinated against covid-19 into its territory and into the hostel . This was reported to the agency "RIA Novosti" in the press service of the university.

“From the beginning of the academic year, vaccinated students will be able to return to face-to-face classes at the Pushkin Institute. From September 1, the entrance to the territory of the institute and the hostel, which are located in the same building, will be carried out with passes, the owners of which confirmed the vaccination with an electronic certificate,» the message says.

The university noted that this measure was taken in accordance with the decision of the chief sanitary DOCTOR of Moscow and the recommendations of the Council of Rectors on mandatory vaccination in educational institutions from July 15 to August 15.

They also clarified that the administration of the institution not only informed its employees and students about this, but also organized a remote meeting with medical workers on the prevention of COVID-19. “Certainly, we will not expel our students. Quite tough measures apply only to our employees: from the beginning of the academic year, if they refuse to be vaccinated — and without contraindications — they will be suspended from work, and students will be transferred to distance learning,” explained Elena Koltakova, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs.
