
Turkey is committed to establishing long-term peace between RUSSIA and Ukraine as soon as possible, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during a conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky. This was announced by the Office of the President of Turkey on Twitter.
Drawing attention to Turkey's intensive efforts to restore peace between Russia and Ukraine through diplomacy, President Erdogan said Turkey's goal is to establish long-term peace as soon as possible. The continuation of the confrontation will not benefit anyone, they said in Ankara.
Erdogan added that the effective operation of humanitarian corridors is necessary for the supply of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
