Experts named the leading regions in terms of small business turnover growth

The leaders in terms of turnover growth among small businesses were three regions - the Stavropol and Altai Territories, as well as the Nizhny Novgorod Region. This follows from a study of the MySklad cloud service (RBC has it). The study assessed the period from February 2020 to September 2021.

According to experts, in the Stavropol Territory, the turnover of small businesses increased by 76.9%, in the Altai Territory they increased by 49.3%, and in the Nizhny Novgorod Region - by 40.8%. Growth in turnover was also recorded in the following regions:

Republic of Bashkortostan - 40.4%; Sverdlovsk region - 35.2%; Krasnodar Territory - 29.9%; Khabarovsk Territory - 24%; Kaliningrad region - 22.4%; Chelyabinsk region - 20.4%; Leningrad region - 17.8%.

MySklad service experts studied the turnover of more than 7.5 thousand companies throughout Russia. The study participants were individual entrepreneurs and legal entities with up to 100 employees.

In September 2021, the average revenue of small businesses increased by 9.6% compared to February 2020. The turnover of small trading companies for the year from September 2020 to September 2021 increased by 3.5%.
