Governor Threatens Unvaccinated Officials With Suspension

The HEAD of the Novosibirsk region, Andrei Travnikov, during an operational meeting on November 1, said that government employees who were not vaccinated against covid-19 could be suspended from work.

“Tomorrow at a meeting on CORONAVIRUS with my colleagues from regional authorities, we will discuss the current situation with vaccination, the results we have achieved, and secondly, the removal of those employees who do not comply with the requirements of the chief sanitary DOCTOR. Therefore, the request is to prepare statistics for the civil service department, ”Travnikov is quoted by Interfax.

According to the governor, officials are subject to the decree of the chief sanitary doctor of the Novosibirsk region on mandatory vaccination.

Глава управления Роспотребнадзора по Новосибирской области Александр Щербатов отметил, что увеличение заболеваемости COVID-19 в регионе фиксируют шестую неделю подряд. На прошлой неделе в регионе выявили 2,3 тыс. случаев инфицирования коронавирусом, что на 19% больше показателей предыдущей недели.

При этом министр здравоохранения Новосибирской области Константин Хальзов отметил, что на данный момент в регионе полный курс вакцинации прошли 799,45 тыс. человек.
