The Governor signed a document on the self-isolation of people over 60 years old

The HEAD of the Novosibirsk region, Andrey Travnikov, signed a decree according to which residents of the region over 60 years of age must observe the regime of self-isolation, limit visits to crowded places and participation in mass events. The exception will be people of the indicated age who have completed a full course of vaccination against covid-19 , or who have been ill with CORONAVIRUS in the last six months. This was reported in the press service of the government of the Novosibirsk region.

“The norm on self-isolation of citizens over 60 years of age due to restrictive measures to counter the coronavirus was in effect in the Novosibirsk Region earlier, from November 2021. At the same time, earlier, since March 2020, it concerned citizens over 65 years old. Currently, the document has been supplemented with an exception for those who have had a COVID-19 disease in the last six months, ”the regional government said in a statement.

According to the operational headquarters of the Novosibirsk region, by February 13, 5,349 new cases of coronavirus infection were known in the region. In total, 143,742 people have been ill in the Novosibirsk region since the beginning of the pandemic.
