A group of Petersburgers sued the property from the wife of the co-owner of "Rive Gauche"

Inna Meyer

Residents of the house 6/13 on Kaznacheyskaya Street were able to prove in COURT that Inna Meyer, the wife of the co-owner of the Rive Gauche and Yulmart chain August Meyer, illegally received ownership of the attic of this building with an area of 500 square meters. m.

According to the Delovoy Peterburg newspaper, citing Rosreestr data, the Meyers bought 10 apartments in the house in the 2010s. At the moment, this property has been sold to trusted people of the family, lawyer Veronika Gogolina, a representative of the residents, suggested in a conversation with the publication.

In addition to apartments, Inna Meyer, under an exchange agreement with the city committee of property relations, became the owner of three non-residential premises adjacent to the attic, which belongs to the common house property. After that, Meyer turned to Rosreestr and achieved the merger of all four premises into one. Thus, 680 sq. m. m.

In the future, this property repeatedly changed owners, the newspaper writes. “All this is one chain of transactions, the purpose of which was to create the appearance of a bona fide acquisition by the defendant of the attic and an attempt to create conditions for the impossibility of claiming it. Such transactions are insignificant, ”Veronika Gogolina commented on the actions of Inna Meyer. However, the Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg recognized the attic space as common shared property, and all purchase and sale agreements with it were invalid.

This is not the only trial in which Inna Meyer became a participant. Earlier, RBC wrote that in December 2021, by decision of the Moscow District Court of St. Petersburg, she was placed under house arrest. Inna Meyer is accused of fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code). This is stated in the TELEGRAM channel of the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg. Earlier, the court arrested August Meyer, who is suspected of being involved in two episodes of fraud - for 1 billion and 1.4 billion rubles.
