The Greek government has canceled quotas and mandatory post-entry quarantine for Russian citizens since May 14. This was reported in the government bulletin of the country, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the government newspaper, Russia was included in the list, which includes 21 states whose citizens can enter by any transport through airports and operating ports and checkpoints, although previously Russians could only enter the country by air travel.
So, Russians will no longer have to go through quarantine upon presentation of a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test made 72 hours before entry, or a certificate of illness and the presence of antibodies. The document clarifies that the vaccination certificate can be in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Russian and must be issued by a government agency.
The quota that was in force earlier, under which entry was allowed only for 4,000 Russian citizens per week, is also cancelled.
