Greece to welcome tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V

Greece will accept tourists who have been vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. This was stated by the Minister of Tourism Haris Theoharis, who announced the opening of tourism in the country, his words are quoted by Sputnik News Greece.

“We welcome tourists who have a Sputnik V vaccination certificate,” Theoharis said.

The country will also be open to those who have received the Chinese vaccine. Theoharis mentioned Serbia, “an important country for Greek tourism,” where a third of the population is vaccinated with Sputnik V and another third with a Chinese drug.

In mid-April, the Greek authorities announced their intention to open the country to tourists from May 14.
