
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, Turkish TV channel TRT World reports.
The heads of the Turkish and Russian Foreign Ministries discussed "the latest developments in Ukraine."
What topics they touched on, the TV channel did not specify.

Earlier, the military operation in Ukraine was also discussed by Russian and Turkish Presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan. “During the conversation, President Erdogan stressed the need for a ceasefire, as well as the speedy [achievement of] peace between RUSSIA and Ukraine, improving the humanitarian situation in the region,” the Turkish leader’s office said. The Erdogan administration's statement also stressed that Turkey was ready to contribute "in every possible way" to the settlement process.
