The head of Tatarstan urged to partially return the mask regime in the region

In Tatarstan, the mask regime may be reintroduced in institutions of all forms of ownership, the HEAD of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov made such a proposal at a government meeting, the 116.ru portal reports.

“Given the increase in the incidence, despite the earlier decisions to suspend restrictive measures, for the time being I recommend introducing a mask regime in the labor collectives of organizations and institutions of all forms of ownership,” Minnikhanov said.

According to him, over the past week, the incidence rate in the republic has increased significantly - by 32%. The head of the region also stated the need to "intensify work on re-vaccination" until the epidemiological situation becomes "even more tense."

As of August 13, according to the operational headquarters, 28,694 people were infected with the CORONAVIRUS in Russia over the past day. The last time such a number of new cases was detected was in March. The level of herd immunity in the country is 7.4%.

Over the past day, 87 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Tatarstan, the republic is far from the leader in their number: more than 100 cases were detected per day in more than 50 regions of the country, the maximum was registered in Moscow - more than 7 thousand. The level of herd immunity in Tatarstan is lower than in Russia - 3.9%.
