
In Sevastopol, enhanced measures have been introduced in connection with the CORONAVIRUS, if they do not help turn the tide, mandatory vaccination of certain groups of residents is possible, Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev told RIA Novosti.
Razvozhaev announced plans to introduce additional restrictions the day before. “Rospotrebnadzor proposed to take a number of restrictive measures at the operational headquarters for covid-19 regarding public events, catering and the tourism sector. The measures are unpopular. Basically, they will begin to operate from June 28 and will be reflected in the decree, which I will sign one of these days, ”Razvozhaev said.

“If these measures do not lead to bringing down the situation, which has now begun to deteriorate sharply, then the chief sanitary DOCTOR may decide on the mandatory vaccination of certain groups that are most active in terms of social contacts,” Razvozhaev told the agency.
Those who, for medical reasons, cannot be vaccinated or do not want to be vaccinated will be able to be transferred to a remote form with pay or go on a scheduled vacation, the governor specified. “And for everyone else, we strongly recommend that they get vaccinated,” he said.

The day before, Razvozhaev said that 72 thousand Sevastopol residents were vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine, 62 thousand completed the vaccination. The governor noted that the region has an alarming dynamics in the coronavirus, an increase in the number of outpatients and deaths. He cited the beginning of the tourist season and the neglect of the mask regime as the reasons for the increase in the incidence.
