The head of Rosobrnadzor allowed schoolchildren from the DPR and LPR to pass the exam in Russia

Schoolchildren from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (LPR and DPR) who graduate this year will be able to take the Unified State Examination (USE) in RUSSIA if the situation in Donbas threatens their safety, Anzor Muzaev, HEAD of Rosobrnadzor, said in an interview with the newspaper " Vedomosti".

According to him, the departure of school graduates to Russia is “possible” if events develop in an unfavorable way, but the final decision, taking into account the situation, will be made by local authorities.

“But if the children come to the exam, we will organize all the conditions for them, and their safety will be at the forefront,” he said.

This year, additional points for passing the exam will be opened on the territory of the republics of Donbass, the head of the department specified. So, in the LPR, where they will be opened for the first time, the exam can be taken at five addresses, and in the DPR - at 14.

At the same time, Muzaev noted that graduates of local schools took the exam in Russia before, coming to the border regions of the country - Rostov, Voronezh, Kursk and Belgorod regions. The first high school students visited the country for this purpose in 2014. Those schoolchildren who are already in Russia because of the situation in Ukraine will take the exam during the main period, he concluded.

The main period for passing the exam, taking into account reserve days, this year falls on May 26 - July 2. The first (early) stage of certification took place from March 21 to April 18. In early April, Rosobrnadzor announced that the exams would be held in accordance with the schedule.
