The head of the German Interior Ministry advised to stock up on food because of the situation in Ukraine

Residents of Germany need to buy a reserve supply of food and essentials in case of a power outage or a reduction in energy consumption amid the conflict in Ukraine, German Interior Minister Nancy Feather said in an interview with Handelsblatt.

“Think, for example, of cyberattacks on critical infrastructure <...> If the power is out for a longer period of time or daily life is limited in some way, then it definitely makes sense to have an emergency power source at home,” she said.
