The head of the Ministry of Health told how rehabilitation is organized after COVID

Rehabilitation of those who have recovered from CORONAVIRUS in the Kaliningrad region can be organized both in inpatient and outpatient settings. This was announced to journalists on January 20 by the Minister of HEALTH of the region Alexander Kravchenko.

In a hospital setting, it takes place on the basis of the Central City Clinical Hospital of Kaliningrad, where 60 rehabilitation beds are open. According to him, patients are sent there only if there are medical indications.

“For patients who do not need inpatient rehabilitation, we suggest contacting outpatient clinics where physiotherapy, exercise therapy, massage, and drug therapy are carried out if necessary,” the HEAD of the Ministry of Health said.

Earlier, RBC Kaliningrad wrote that the first four cases of infection with the Omicron strain of coronavirus were confirmed in the Kaliningrad region. It was found in three adults and a child.
