The authorities of the Kemerovo region do not plan to return anti-covid restrictions against the backdrop of an increase in the incidence of CORONAVIRUS, the HEAD of the region Sergey Tsivilev said at a meeting with business representatives, TASS reports.
“I and our headquarters do not see at the moment any reason to introduce any restrictions. There is growth, but diseases are mild, mortality is very low. There are no grounds for imposing strict restrictive measures,” he answered the relevant question.

At the same time, Tsivilev drew attention to the fact that the incidence in the country is growing everywhere, and Rospotrebnadzor only recommended that citizens wear masks.
According to the operational headquarters, over the past day in the Kemerovo region, the maximum 417 new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected since March. The incidence began to rise in the region from the end of July. Earlier this month, Rospotrebnadzor lifted all anti-COVID restrictions at the federal level, but clarified that the regions themselves could introduce additional measures, depending on the situation. Already in the middle of the month, the rate of spread of the virus began to grow, the department called the trend widespread.
Over the past day, two patients with coronavirus died in Kuzbass, 38 more were hospitalized. Neither the death rate nor the number of hospitalizations in the region is growing significantly.

Over the past 24 hours, more than 33 thousand new cases of infection have been detected in Russia. For comparison: in mid-July, there were less than 5 thousand of them. At the same time, Rospotrebnadzor did not see the need to return restrictions at the federal level and recommended that some regions (including St. Petersburg, Moscow and the region) return the mask regime.
Some regions have already done this unilaterally: wearing masks in public places is again required in Buryatia.
