The HEAD of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, allowed the tightening of restrictive measures for those who were not vaccinated against CORONAVIRUS, subject to the negative development of the epidemiological situation. In his TELEGRAM channel, he noted that in many Western countries, which are often set as an example for RUSSIA, unvaccinated citizens were forbidden to leave their homes.

“On the territory of our country, such measures have not yet been taken, but in the event of a negative development of the situation, anything can happen,” he stressed.

According to Aksyonov, now the vaccination plan on the peninsula has been completed by 63%. He pointed to the shortage of the Sputnik Light vaccine in Crimea, but assured that the authorities would fix this problem. “More than 130,000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine are available,” he added.

The head of the region urged local residents to wear masks in public places and get vaccinated against coronavirus infection in order to avoid new restrictions.
