The head of the CIA gave an “honest answer” to the question about the origin of COVID.

The US authorities have not yet come to a final conclusion about the origin of the coronavirus, CIA chief William Burns said in an interview with NPR radio.

“The honest answer is that we cannot give a definitive conclusion whether the coronavirus appeared as a result of an abnormal situation in the laboratory or through natural transmission of the infection from infected animals to humans,” he said.

According to the HEAD of the CIA, the authorities continue to diligently study the issue, but it is likely that it will not be possible to find out about the origin of covid-19 .

“Perhaps, as with many other things, we will never come to a final conclusion,” Burns said.
