On the main roads of Buryatia, where the lockdown was previously introduced, posts will be set up at which drivers and passengers will be selectively checked for the validity of leaving the city, said the HEAD of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov. He wrote about this on FACEBOOK.
“You can go from the city to your dacha or home to the district according to your registration. If there is a dacha, then with documents confirming that there is a dacha and it is yours,” Tsydenov said.
He also explained the decision of the authorities of the republic to introduce non-working days from June 27 to July 11 against the backdrop of the spread of CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 . “The main topic of today is, of course, covid and lockdown. Therefore, I want to return to this again. The situation is difficult. The main problem is the lack of hospital beds, the lack of doctors and the growing death rate from COVID,” he said.
According to him, now the entire medical staff is working with a huge overload, without days off, and many do not go home at all. “More than three thousand beds are occupied. We have had 20 deaths a day from COVID for five days in a row!!! and more people! Almost 20 tons (TONS!) of oxygen are consumed per day,” the head of the republic said.
As Tsydenov noted, COVID-19 has changed significantly: the infection has become more contagious and more aggressive. “The old and the young get sick, newborns get sick. Unfortunately, even young people began to die.
Therefore, we need to take all possible measures to reverse the situation. It is necessary to reduce the infection,” he stressed.
What restrictions are being introduced by the regions due to the new outbreak of COVID-19. Main Society
This, according to the head of Buryatia, can be achieved only "if you stop communicating, contacting and transmitting the infection to each other." “Previously ill people also have antibodies, but most of them are already in insufficient volume, since more than six months have passed since the illness. To stop the disease, the only effective measure is disunity. Now we need to break the chain of transmission of infection. Therefore, lockdown! So we are at home! Home self-isolation!” Tsydenov said.
The head of the region believes that two weeks is not such a long time for being in self-isolation, but the restrictions introduced will save the lives of many. “The result will be if we all together these two weeks are responsible! We will not look for loopholes, but we will stay at home. We will not go from the city to relatives in the region and we will not take the infection to the region, but we will stay at home, ”he added.
Tsydenov recalled that life-supporting enterprises, as well as grocery stores, pharmacies, housing and communal services, transport and the media will be able to continue working. Speaking about the work of federal networks, among which the head of Buryatia mentioned Sportmaster and M.Video, he said that he had applied to the government of the country in order to agree on their closure during the lockdown. “Otherwise, it will not be fair,” Tsydenov explained.
